PHOTO THIEVES! Pagecovers.com

February 03, 2015  •  Leave a Comment
I found my shot of Richard & Major from the TATTOOS & RESCUES series posted on Pagecovers.com with my watermark removed, replaced with theirs.  They have stolen my image and after repeated attempts to get them to remove the image from their site they have not complied.  Now, I am exposing them as thieves.  Removing the watermark from an image and replacing it with your own is a blatant infringement of copyright.  Pagecovers.com took active steps to alter the image that was created for me and my TATTOOS & RESCUES project.  I can prove this image was altered because there is a very thin, small opacity, large & symbol over the main part of the image.
I originally asked Pagecovers.com to remove the SAVE THEM image on March 11th, 2014 with no response.  I have had several fans point this image out as they recognized it immediately and wanted to know why they were using it.  Since then I have made repeated requests for them to remove the image with no response and now the image is still posted on their site.
If you have time, please visit this link and tell them what you really think of stolen digital art!  I know the TATTOOS & RESCUES family will let them know what's up!  This happens way too much in the world of digital art, we must take a stand against this type of thievery.  Thanks for listening to my rant.
Many thanks to Jason Lanier for his guidance on this issue.
Take care,

Brian
