Kiva is a very special girl who is in need of a loving forever home. All of the details of her past are not known, however she has had a rough life because she is extremely shy upon meeting new people and unsure in new situations. Once you have gained her trust though, a couple of belly rubs and a gentle word should do the trick, she will climb right into your lap and stay there as long as you'll let her.
Kiva needs a home with lots of love and patience where she knows that everything will be ok. She cares more about getting love and attention than any toy, even more than food! Kiva does love her some hamburgers though so that item will always need to be handy!
Kiva does well with other dogs and a slow introduction is best due to her being a bit unsure of new situations. She is also good with children however its may be best if there are older kids in the home rather than little ones. She seems to not mind cats at all.
Kiva is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations and is on heartworm preventative. She is believed to be housebroken and she has not pottied in her foster home up to this point.
